horse shows

We spend a lot of weekends at horse shows. Sometimes we're showing and sometimes we're spectators. We do the 4-H shows through our county, area and state. We will also be attending many of the 3-day events in the Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio areas.

Indiana High School Rodeo

I was checking out the Hoosier Horse Park schedule for 2006 and saw that the Indiana High School Rodeo dates are posted. We went last year and nearly froze to death. Why they have this at an outdoor arena in March I do not know.  Anyway, the dates are March 24-25, 2006. You can visit their website for more details. They generally have competitions throught the day and a full show each evening. The high school kids competing are usually from Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.
